Hello Olivier,
Just had to take a peek at your site. It is fascinating, that engine Green Light Chess just seems to be everywhere but unseen at the same time.
A few questions:
Is there an easy way to determine the number of games played? The rating of the engines I assume is after all the games it has participated in to date.
Perhaps the answer is staring me in the face so be gentle....

:-)

Are you going to make the pgn available as one zipped file with everything when this cycle is all over?
Where do I go to see which engine is on top overall? I assume that there are leagues? I did not see the usual suspects such as Crafty, Ruffian etc. so I assumed there is some sort of First Class league, Second Class league etc.
No insult inetended to any author of course!

Keep up the good work. The more WB competitions at these timecontrols that I cannot afford to play at, the merrier I will be.

Later.

Hello Roger :)
In fact, I don't care a lot about Elo ratings. The ratings are calculated after the end of each league (D, C, B, A) according to french rules. This means that games won against opponents rated 350 points lower and games lost against opponents rated 350 points higher are not included. Anyway, updates are allowed anytime, and the new version automatically replaces the old one. So a number of games wouldn't mean a thing.
PGN files are available for each league : click on ChessWar III (archives) for the whole CWIII event, and on ChessWar IV for the current event.
Top engines will show up in ChessWar IV A, just click on Starting list.
Many thanks for your interest !
Olivier
