Interesting game to analyze

I am currently tuning some lines in my TheKing book
and somehow found a line (up to 40 half moves) in it,
which derived from the game below.
It is interesting that even the F8.ctg (BB book) follows
that game until move 18...Kxg7.
A quick review of the game let me think that 21.Rdh1
seems to have enough potential for compensation?
OTH I think that the played move 21.f5? seems to lose?
No idea though why Black refrained from Nf2?
It seems also that some blunders were played later,
especially 33...Rd8?? which allowed White to draw.
(Anyway an entertaining game from a Human POV)

21. ... Nf2 loses to 22. f6 Kg8 23. g6 and black here doesn't have a good reply.
21. f5 Rg8 22. Bxg4 (22. ... Qd8 23. f6 Kf8 24. Qf3 +-) Kf8 23. Qf3 c6 24. f6 Qc7 25. Kb1 cxd5 black's moves are pretty much forced in reply to white's but here white misses 26. g6 which is winning eg.
26. ... fxg6 27. Be6
Any other try by black loses to 27. g7
I'd say 21. f5 is winning.
