Hello Thomas Mayer,
Thanks for your modified engine. I did a quick test - 40 moves in 5 minutes - for this gauntlet. It did not lose a single game on time. Then again it certainly did not lose too many games!
I do not test at timecontrols shorter than the one above.
You appear to have done a fine job.
Now please concentrate on Quark!
Later.

Good News !
Well, I still think that GnuChess is not that weak, for many engines it is still a strong opponent... when I begun with with Quark I thought it would be wonderful if Quark could be better once then GnuChess...
So the engines to prove against are in my opinion at first TSCP, when you are better next one is Gerbil. If that is reached, the GnuChess-barrier could be the next goal. Beating GnuChess, Crafty is for sure the next big barrier. I am still working on it... :)
thanks, well it was not to much -> at first it was needed to get an idea how the GnuChess time-control works. After I had understood that it was quite easy... So far I am just waiting for some results of Leo and of course Günther who has initiated all this because he said that he will throw out GnuChess when the bug is not fixed.
done... :) Next days in Paderborn will show how much it was worth... it's of course not a revolution but at least I hope for a little evolution...
Greets, Thomas
