Der Bringer exceeding time under WinBoard

Hi,
In SzG Swiss Der Bringer exceeded time already twice, in totally drawn positions in both cases. This time problem has occurred already several times in my tournaments, so I decided to look into the problem more carefully.
This is what I found (based on the game Comet-Bringer, played yesterday):
The relevant part of winboard.debug:

8841063 second: time 1723
otim 20114
8841063 >second: c2f5
8841219

Thanks, Volker. I used "pre" but it seems it did not reach the goal.

Hi,
In SzG Swiss Der Bringer exceeded time already twice, in totally drawn positions in both cases.
I've also experienced problems with Der Bringer losing on time. In particular, this occurs when using time controls with increments. I haven't studied winboard.debug but I have noticed some strange behavior. Perhaps you can try this experiment.
Both Winboard and Bringer's GUI display the time. Arrange your windows so that you can see both times. When I do this, I sometimes notice that the times reported by Winboard and Bringer get out-of-sync, usually by the amount of increment. It's my guess that Bringer has an error in the code re: whether the increment should be made before or after a move is made.
I've reported this error to Der Bringer's author, but that was a long time ago and it appears that Der Bringer isn't actively being developed.

Your experience shows a possible other explanation of the problem. I will try to observe what is going on.
Recently I read in CCC Forum that Der Bringer is still under development. Unfortunately the time of the next release is unknown.

I remember from a post in this forum, Der Bringer was rewrote and now the author is trying to get the strenght of last release of Der Bringer.
