Hi :-),
I just finished Nunn position 1 in the Elite Tournament. Concerning Crafty the native engine plays so far, but I will do a test for the first positions with the Dann Corbit Version and some of the personalities from Mike Byrne´s SE and the best one will then be in when I upload crosstables and games in a few days.

There is also a Top tournament with the following participants with also 600 games for each engine:
Little Goliath Nemesis
Slow Chess 2.89b
Pharaon 2.62
WildCat 3.0
Amyan 1.593b
Tao 5.6 beta4 ("heavy")
AnMon5.30
KnightDreamer 3.2
Ikarus V0.18
The Baron 1.3.0b1
Movei 00_8_174
Quark 2.35
Gothmog 0.4.6e
Comet B68
Terra 3.3b8
Amy 0.8.7
I got very good results for Gothmog 0.4.6e version in a lot of testgames I ran against strong opposition.
I would like to start this tournament if someone could tell me that the DC compiled Amy version is running without probs now.

And finally we have the D tournament with 480 games for each engine:
Snitch and Cheetah are postponed for the next tournament because Klaus and Ralf will be on holidays what would be bad in case of bugs detected.
So we have some good Russian engines here, all seem to be improved after first test matches, including Booot and Eeyore. If someone can send me the new Greko 2.70 I am unable to download so far I could start here. I hope that I now have the newest versions for all. Drunken Master also impresses me, seems much better than the former release.
Nullmover 0.25
Waster 0.13a
Djinn 0.848
Hermann 0.9
Trace 1.27
Ufim 4.04
Greko 2.68
Drunken Master 0.9
Eeyore 1.25
Bestia 0.90
BigLion 2.23j
Booot 3.1
Gnuchess 5.07

Nunn B and C tournaments will be updated on Sunday.
Pyramid results you will find under the link below.

This surprises me. In my own tests, I have not been able to conclude that
0.4.6e is stronger than 0.4.5 or 0.4.6a. What results have you seen for
the latest version?
If I am not mistaken, Booot is Ukrainian, not Russian.

Hi Tord :-),
ah, you are back, fine :-). Thanks for the correction concerning Booot.
I will send you games with Gothmog 0.4.6e via email in half an hour and a possible (hardware dependent) explanation why it scores better for me than Gothmog 0.4.6a. Have to say that I ran both versions on different computers.
Best Regards
Heinz

Hello Matthias,
thanks, I think you can need it against such strong opposition. I will also send to you test games and logfiles tomorrow. Seems to be all okay, but I am still not convinced if I should use 128 MB for Blitz. The 2.23i version played very good with 64 MB in my tournaments, but we can discuss this tomorrow after you studied the games.
Best Regards

Hi :-),
sorry, that was the wrong button. I have two Athlon 2600+ PC´s but one of them with KT 400 chipset that seems to be a bit critical for a few engines. I will have to run more tests to be sure.

Welcome back Tord! How was your vacation?
We are sending our ASIC off to the fab today (heck, it *might* even work) and
I'm headed back home tomorrow!! I'll also get a few days off which will be
nice (time to get back to work on the engine).

The vacation was great. We ended up going to Morocco instead of Tunisia, but
it turned out that Morocco was also not a bad place. Coming home to Oslo and
-13 degrees Celsius was an unpleasant experience, though.
Congratulations! I hope your work schedule will be less insane from now on.
