Hi All,
This is just to let you know that a new release of Matheus (version 2.3) was uploaded to Matheus' homepage.
http://www.matheuschess.hpg.ig.com.br/
It comes with UCI support.
Please recompile your opening books as the book structure for version 2.3 has changed a little. (Old binary books will not work in version 2.3)
Best wishes,
Josué

Are there any differences to the beta?

I wish more authors would set up book compiling the way Matheus does.
Matheus allows for separate white and black opening books. I use Scid to split my opening book pgn into 2 overlapping books. The "white" pgn has white wins and draws, and the "black" pgn has black wins and draws.
If you use a high number for "minimum played", reliability improves. Suppose minumum played is set to 5, and let's say in the orignal pgn a bunch of opening positions each lead to 1 white win, 3 draws and 4 black wins. Because of the "minimum played = 5", these positions (where white moves) would not be included in the "white" book (1 win + 3 draws = 4 < 5), but (where black moves) will be included in the "black" book (3 draws + 4 wins = 7 >= 5).
By comparison, if just the original pgn is used for both books, these positions would be included for both white and black moves because they each occured 8 times.

Hi Cristian,
Yes there are.
In UCI time control. I code mate search, node search, depth search, and so on.
More bug free. But I do not know yet if I introduce other bugs though. :-)
Better hashtable schema. I introduce a Depth element in hashtable. Now Matheus 2.3 has both Always element and Depth element.
Best wishes,
Josué.
