WBEC 2nd Division

Some posts ago I read something about the plenty of Scandinavian engines that are going to play the 2nd Division. Sadly, it's the first time no Italian engine is involved in such a Division...

It is your responsiblity that no italian engine is involved.
You have a clearly better esc at long time control(based on a previous post of you) but for some reason you did not send it to Leo to defend itself in the tests in promo tourney C

The result is that Esc scored only 9.5/20 when cerebero scored 10/20 and promoted in promo C.

You are right about Esc, but the developing version is stronger but also less stable than 1.16 and probably wouldn't fit the stability rules of WBEC. Unfortunately I never have the time to debug it and I don't know when it will be possible.
Anyway my observation was in general about Italian chess engines, given the fact that many others besides Esc have played the 2nd division in the past.
