Round 16:
SlowChess 2.89b 11 2.0/2
Amateur 2.80 00 0.0/2

I guess SlowChess reads the Forum. Will's words got it in combat mode.
:-)

Still, there are two more games to go but the worst it can do is draw from here so....
The Baron will have to sit out this dance - as I had indicated some time before.
:-(

Later.

The Premier division should get tighter. Ruffian is 2 points below The King but only 6 S-B points below. That indicates that Ruffian has had the more difficult schedule so far, and therefore will have the easier schedule to finish. Looking at the opponents for each it is indeed the case. The King has Deep Sjeng and Crafty, while Ruffian has Gandalf and Greenlight. It should make for a close finish.
Anmon winning the New Engines Division? Anmon a new engine? Sorry, no congratulations on that. Instead my congratulations to Fabien for Fruit being the "true" winner of the New Engines Division.

Leo,
does that mean that updates will not be accepted after
the qualify matches begin (i think i read that somewhere)?
if not, how long do we have to
get updates to you? I've been holding off on sending
you the bugfix from 2 weeks ago because i've also
been trying to improve the strength of the engine
and i don't want to flood you with different versions.
Thanks,
Eric Oldre

Nothing is sure.
Movei should play against Phalanx XXII and after some 4-0(do not ask me who is going to be the winner) Baron can still score more than the loser.

Hi Eric,
Updates are allowed, even after the qualify matches starts!

Should be no problem if you send one, I can always add betas to a test tourney when I run one!
New Murderhole versions specially at my P1266 where the old versions dont want to play :-)
Best wishes,
Leo.

Thanks, AnMon is a bit tough :)
Unfortunately Jonny played without a book, which leaves me with a bad feeling ...
