Hello,
I would like introduce the newest (2.0) version of my chess engine called Merlin. This is a beta version only, there may be some bugs in it, so please be patient...

No. For me it always opens with 1. b4.It also seems that everytime Merlin is white, it opens with d3. Is that always the case?

It is strange, because I have never had problem with specifying the opening book in autoexec.cfg.I had a little trouble installing the book (small). I eventually put the book command from autoexec.cfg into default.cfg, and then I got the book to load.

Not getting the book to load was my fault.Hi,It is strange, because I have never had problem with specifying the opening book in autoexec.cfg.I had a little trouble installing the book (small). I did not remove the "#" in autoexec.cfg. But why do you need autoexec.cfg when you can also put the book loading command in default.cfg?
