I think, Gambit Tiger beating Isichess but Yace has a hard time against Zarkov.

I've visited the tournament yesterday. It's a very nice atmosphere there. Nice games too. Bringer was a long time ahead of Rebel (+3) before the remis came out. Quark did well vs. Tiger until it played a very questionable move.
I think it is not impossible for Yace to defeat Zarkov. And Gerd (IsiChess) did some special preparation to at least confuse Heiner Marxen who will operate Tiger.

Tiger played a very dubious opening (IMO) against Yace and lost. Not to mention a somewhat harmless variation of the Ruy Lopez in the game against Patzer. If Isichess has a decent book that doesn't allow too many complicated positions, then it has a chance for a draw. OTOH Zarkov is a tough opponent in the last round for Yace.

Hi
I ken the old Isichess from Leiden, Isichess is positionally weak.
(Crux has played with Isichess, and the position was draw. Crux has 2000 ELO)
Just ghost of a chance against the "king of chessprograms".
But, I will be fan of Isichess :O)))
