Hi,
i'm very surprised, SnailChess was the first engine since a long time i have tested which doesn't crash, play illegal moves or have other bugs. It plays against 89 other engines, together 178 games, without any interrupt.
At the moment i'm testing all engines without an opening book, which are not too buggy. At the moment the strongest of the newer ones without opening book is Requiem (about 2200 ELO), but i havn't tested Chezz and Ghost. So at the moment Requiem is a little bit weaker than Betsy 5.26 and Gaviota 0.2.2 (both also without book).
Also interresting is that there are many Engines without book, with an ELO from about 2000 (Baron 0.24, Embracer 1.05, Replicant 0.49, SnailChess 3.01 and Damas 1c). A little bit weaker is Blikskottel with about 1950, and it plays sometimes illegal castelings.

Hello Andreas,
Dont forget that it has _one_ strange bug which Leo and I had discovered,
it does not play moves/minutes when the number of minutes is _too_ high!
Leo had 40 minutes and I had 15 minutes both numbers where too high...
In all test games with blitz/bullet games I didnt experienced problems
for this kind of time control.

i have tested only game in 5 minutes, and this time mode runs very well.
