Hi all,
I have released new version of Ax - 0.2:
- Fix some bugs (did not run in human-computer mode in WB; wrong declared that some moves were illegal). Hope it can joint WB tournaments.
- Add configuration file Ax.ini.
- Improve little search and evaluation function.
- Report about percent of correct guesses/total guesses when pondering.
- Probably add some bugs ;)
The new version can be downloaded at:

PHN

Ax 0.2 appears to be strong, the below game was just played here. A defeat, against a much praised engine. Ax started playing well and eventually made a fantastic sacrifice, 23.Nxe6!? Later, it -in my view- blundered with 28.Rxh6? after which List easily got the upper hand bringing its knight to d3. Instead, 28.Red1 would be correct.
