Well, in my opinion Beaches isn't that weak. I would estimate it's playing strength to approximately 1800.

I hope you're right! It got pounded pretty well in the last Ridderkerk. The main improvement is the addition of hash tables and slightly better move ordering. From my testing, I think I would put it somewhere between Nero and 31337.
