Summary&findings:
Ruffian still is the absolute leader between free chess engines and gap to the second best is more than 100 points.
Aristarch 4.21 earned 2nd place and it's definetely better than previous version 4.4.
Smarthink 0.17 - really good result, it won the last CANDIDATES and qualified to premier and now moved directly to 3rd place - very promising!
Both Yace versions seemm similar in strength and somehow dissapointed in this tournament. It's clear they don't like this time control at 100 in 3min they performed much better.
Crafty 19.03 proved that it is better than older 17.11 so new crafty versions probably are the strongest ones.
Crafty 17.11 got the last place and together with Yace_Pdb will relegate to CANDIDATES 2. It was second after Smarthink in previous CANDIDATES and all engines between 3rd and 8th place now are between them. This just shows how similar in strength are these engines.
