Hello Leo,
I have discovered a major bug in KKFChess 2.6.0 that is affecting its
performance. You can fixed this bug by creating/editing the configuration
file and correting the default value for the item named "NonPVExt". The
correct default value should be "-0.5" instead of "-6.25". The later value
casues the engine to search non-PV lines to -6.25 plys!
If you have the time then please correct this default value, otherwise you
will have to wait until I release V2.6.1 (most major bug fixed I hope).
I did not discover the bug earlier because I always had the "NonPVExt" set.
Sorry for the inconvenience, it must have been all those pre-X'mas parties.

I do not understand what you mean.
1)what is non pv lines(is it all the lines except single line that is the pv of previous iteration or all the lines that begin with at least one pv move or something different).
2)Do reduce depth by 6.25 plies for lines that are not the pv that means that after finding a pv based on searcing to depth 8 you search other lines only to depth 1.75

I changed the config file so it will be ok at the 6th division which start in
2-3 weeks, IF you release v2.6.1 before please let me know by then!
