Sorry about the empty post.
What I was about to say is that I noticed that 3 different winboard engines have virtually the same time management bug when using incremental time management. When using a time control of 1 minute + 1 second per move, with 1 minute left, the 3 engines go into panic mode and move almost immediately. They insist on keeping a reserve of 1 minute (sometimes 59 seconds).
Those 3 wb engines are sos 11.99, dragon 4.5 and nejment 3.07.
In addition francesca mad 0.09 has a variation of this bug. It is very, very reluctant to use time less that 1 minute, but will do so.

Playing ultra-fast games is always good for some comic relief.

With today's cpu's going 3 GHz, a 1 minute game today is like a 10 minute game 6 years ago (300 MHz computer). And the computer today is cheaper.
