In fact, the problem comes from Win98 : I tested DeepSjeng on my P4 running on XP, and the good HT size is displayed.
For Sedat : the same for SOS !
I don't know if the hashsize is really poorly allocated on Win98 of if this is simply that it is not well displayed.

Try the tool TaskInfo 2002 !
It has never failed me under Win2000Pro.

/Matthias.
This is the tool I use (I typed TaskManager by mistake).
So this has nothing to do with the 1MB bug... but the 1MB bug still exists !

Hi Olivier,
Today i reinstall win98se and setuped Windows XP Professional,
and now the hashsizes of Sos4 for Arena , DeepSjeng 1.5a are ok
-That's means the new versions of some chess engines have problems on win98 !
Best,
Sedat
