I'd like to inform you that i've just released a 3D version of WJChess. This is shareware. Here are screenshots :

Hi Jeff. I'm sure that nobody will mind. Thanks for the information.
Is this new version of WJChess significantly stronger than former versions? The screenshots look beautiful, but I'm little inclined to download a 12M+ file.

Hi,
the engine is version 1.52. It should be 2000-2100 ELO.
The file size is big because of skyboxes (3D landscape), there are a lot.
Do you know "getright" ? http://www.getright.com
You can download files in several times with it.

I didn't like "getright" when I tried it some time ago. Currently I prefer to use Opera.
