I am not sure I agree. To me it looks like the two settings perform about
equally well in your games.

They are both performing well for sure :). But the 3 new opponents have a much higher ELO in my list compared to the 3 removed. I did a quick ELO calculation for the second set of games and it came out slightly stronger (~15 ELO points) but with such small numbers of games it's not statistically significant of course.
And thanks for a wonderful program that is fun to watch play!
