BlackBishop needs to win to increase its promotion chances!

In this quite equal endgame position both players had just reached
the 40 moves cut. DanChess was thinking about move 41, BlackBishop
sighed while he was nervously slipping in his chair.
Suddenly DanChess looked deep into his opponents eyes and asked:
'Would you agree to a draw if I would offer you one?'
BB answered sadly: 'No, sorry I am forced to play on, I MUST win,
because Andreas would kill me if I would miss promotion. Moreover
my elder brother Holmes, who is always kidding me, would call me a clown,
if I would have to play two classes below him :( In fact I know I am
the better player but how should I ever prove? I have no choice you see,
I am FORCED to play on here :('
DanChess had listened very carefully and started thinking on his move again,
finally he moved his rook to d4!(??) after a 15plies search.
BB could not trust his eyes and looked quite surprised to DanChess,
while DanChess was smiling...finally BB took the rook with Nxd4 and whispered:
'Thanks...thanks...thanks...you saved my life...'
One move later DanChess resigned and both players went home, one still
smiling, the other one jumping around, because he was so happy.

If BlackBishop took DanChess' rook with a "black bishop" instead of a knight, the story would have more emotion. ;)

Hi Günther,
nice game comments Especially for BlackBishop.
After BB has played most games against the strong engines in your tournament with black (BlackBishop is over 100 ELO weaker with black), i think the first lucky point with black against the top 10 and that only because of an error of DanChess.
To Daniel:
Thanks for the full point. But that should be no problem, for DanChess, as far as i know it's save for promotion anyway. Good luck in Israel at the WMCCC.
best wishes
Andreas

Hi Gunther
I was thinking you would say Danchess somehow managed to draw
until you told the blunder. Yes, i need the debug very much.
I am surprized it searched to 15 plies depth and make this blunder.
best wishes
