for authors: name of config files

Hi,
This is primarily for engine authors.
When a new version is introduced, I prefer to keep old settings unless there are new options. However, there are engines whose config files need to be renamed, otherwise they will not be recognized by the engine. If a user forgets about this, he may encounter annoying experiences, e.g. hash sizes are not what they are expected, EGTB's are not used, etc.
Because of this, I would like to ask authors not to change the name of the ini files. Thank you.
Gábor

well, you might have noticed that Quarks ini file has changed. Old versions use Quark.rc and newer versions Quark.qbt... qbt means Quark Batch File.
The reason is simple, the internat format has changed. Because I usually keep all versions of an engine in the same directory I hate it when the ini-files change and so the older versions do not work anymore. With the new ini-file I can still hold all older versions in the same directory.
Greets, Thomas
P.S.: At the moment I think this was the last time the ini-file has changed for Quark, I think the new format is flexibel enough also for new versions because it is handled like directly typed in commands... (As I said, it's a batch file)
