In Arena, there is the following save options (checkboxes):
-Save mainline
-Save move value/depth
-Save duration
For AEGT you need only "Save move value/depth"
Just press F7 and select PGN section of the dialog "Appearance.

PGN-extract

I also use pgn-extract for stripping.
Here is my batch file strip.bat:
pgn-extract -7 -C -V -s %1 -ostripped.pgn
To use it: strip pgnfilename
To use pgn-extract from the command line, replace %1 above with the filename.
pgn-extract creates a file named stripped.pgn which you can rename. The original file is not changed.
Example:
strip tomato.pgn
ren stripped.pgn tomato-str.pgn

Pgn-extract by David Barnes
-c -C -s are the flags you want
You can add -7 if you want to strip all tags except the 7 formally required tags.

You can even use KKFChess. Type the command
chkpgn
at the engine's console to get a "clean" PGN file - moves verified of course.

Andrew.
