Yes
It is a pepito clone.
I understood that the difference was supposed to be pepito's evaluation but later I understood that it is possible that the cloner of pepito could also
do it weaker for other reasons.

It was discussed some times ago in this forum. It seems that Siboney=Pepito-Pepito's eval+Some_much_weaker_eval...
It is really easy to detect, because it has absolutely same english misspelling like Pepito does.
I don't think that it should be defined as clone. In my opinion the clone is something if I only slightly alter the code or simply compile the existing source with some different compiler options (but of course, this is only my opinion)...
As I understood, the author(?) of Siboney just wanted to test if his evaluation function works at all. But his problem is that Pepito is GNU licensed, while Siboney's code is not available at all...
Best regards,
George

Do you remember about the dates of those discussions? Just want to study that case (just curious, not to against anyone).
Did he give any reference and acknowledgment to author of Pepito? If not, that is really bad action. If yes, we could forgive for him.

If (and only if) he also follows the copyright agreement (or copyleft agreement in this case).
