Hi Gabor
Qh8+ was a blunder. And Djnn_807 doesn't seem to play it here.
Tom has to explain that i think.
DanChess seems to like both Qh7+ and Qg5.

Gábor,
Thanks for the post. Your tournament seems to bring out the most subtle,
(and not so subtle) bugs in Djinn. In the first season, it blew a won
game against Queen and this season it seems it wants TCB to win!
It was a decent attack until Djinn decided to give away its queen.
I'm guessing this is probably some odd transposition bug, but I won't really
know until I recreate it. If you wouldn't mind, you can send me the log at:
tlikens@charter.net
If you have the Winboard debug log as well that would be excellent, but
if not don't worry about it.
best regards,

is it Qh7+ or Qg5 ?
I'm not sure what you mean, but I think Qg5 then Qh4 finishes.
Gábor
Hi Gabor
Qh8+ was a blunder. And Djnn_807 doesn't seem to play it here.
Tom has to explain that i think.
DanChess seems to like both Qh7+ and Qg5.
But ruffian 105 analysis says mate in 10

Hey Daniel,
Like you, just setting up the position and letting Djinn 0.870 start analyzing,
gives the following partial output:

10  00:00:03  14.21  1. Qh7+ Kf8 2. Rh5 Ra8 3. Bxe7+ Kxe7 4. Qxg7 Rxa3
                     5. Qg5+ Kd7 6. Qd2+ Kc6 7. Qd6+ Kb5 8. Qxa3

If I were a betting man, I would place my money on a subtle problem with the
hash table. As once said about the fairer sex, "... hash tables, can't live
with them, can't live without them!"
regards,
