Hi all,
I'm trying to use beowulf under xboard on a linux box. I've successfully compile the source code downloaded from http://www.chessbrain.net/beowulf/. In the web page it is said to be version 2.2 but the executable says "Welcome to Beowulf Version 2.3beta1!".
The program works fine, but I'm not able to make it use the opening book (it doesn't work either in command-line mode). Under xboard it loads the book, but it doesn't use it. Here is xboard's debug after I've played 1. e4
$ xboard -fcp ./beowulf -debug &
