Hello Leo,
It says a bit when 50% lands you at number 8 - 9. This is one tough division, the Premier.
Thanks for hosting the event. It is always a blast. Now if I could just get it right from early on in terms of the eventual winner....
Good job Leo.
As always.
Later.

Great job on the Tournaments. What exactly is the policy on updates and replacements while the tournament is in progress? There seems to be a conflict between the "rules" and what actually happened.
Maby I can answer if you tell about which conflict you mean?
Best wishes,
Leo.

In Div 2, I see it says:
"Amy 0.8.3po (po=Ponder Off)(replaced by v0.8.6 after round 12)
TheCrazyBishop 0045 (replaced by v0050 after round 12)"
but in the rules it says:
"Before an division starts there will be an "stabillity" test tourney played, 1RR at 40/3min.
As soon this is finished no engine updates are allowed!!
Exceptions:
When I have heavy problems with an engine like "crashes, hangs etc.", in that case I will ask the author IF he can/wants to (try to) fix it within 3 days! (else an older stable version will be used if possible)
If an engine plays worse as expected it can be replaced by an older version (which I had before the tourney started!) by request of the author (before the 3rd round started)!"
Again, thanks for a great tournament!!

In both cases it where very old bugs which were never be fixed before, TCB crashed from time to time and Amy crashed Winboard which stopped the tourney, in both cases the new versions are not stronger (at my tests) as the buggy ones so I replaced them to avoid further problems!
No older "stable" versions available.
Thanks!
Best wishes,
Leo.
