Anyone having winboard problems with scid 3.6?

Maybe just a coincidence, but with scid 3.6 active, I was getting some crashes of winboard engines and even crashes of Jori's tournament manager. I went back to scid 3.5 and things are stable.
Did anyone else experience this coincidence?

Eh? Sounds weird to me. A lot of code changed for 3.6 but nothing changed in the interface with WinBoard engines. Scid 3.6 probably uses more memory than 3.5 since (1) I increased some limits and (2) I compiled 3.6 with Tcl/Tk 8.4 but (if I recall) I compiled 3.5 with the more compact Tcl/Tk 8.3. But why any of this should cause engines or other software to crash is beyond me.
Incidentally, a few small bugs have been found with all the code that changed for 3.6 so a bugfix release Scid 3.6.1 should be out in the next 24 hours.
Cheers,
Shane (author of Scid)

scid does not seem to be the problem causer.
Another new update that is the likely culpit is baron 1.20. With my settings, its expands from 117M to 126M during a game and sometimes stays in memory after finishing. I also have to take it out of action to see if the crashes stop.
