Perhaps i have a problem on my configuration but here are so

hello ,
i ran several games and fruit seem to have some problem to handle top engines ...
during the game vs amyan ( already commented , Fruit have problem with pieces activity.
Vs Aristarch , he didn't forsee the threats of two opposite passed ( and linked) pawn....
vs Crafty he suffered vs a strong kingside attack while his pieces was Queen side....(and after he has destroy his castle )
In each game , he have some problem to find activate square for his pieces...
perhaps i missed something during installation???

There is nothing wrong with your installation. Fruit is playing exactly the rubbish chess it's supposed to play! Why other people fail to realise that simple fact is beyond my comprehension ...
That beeing said, I am of course well aware of the lack of mobility feature as well as connected passers. I also know very well about complete passivity while the opponent is happily grabbing the king (e.g. Gothmog). My philosophy was to make a release of the program "as is" before I start heavily modifying the code ...
Testing mobility seriously is going to take a long time (and not to be started soon even), and I wanted to have a stable released version first.
I would like to explain that Fruit is a program to study search trees and only plays chess as a side effect, but people would not understand.

Not exactly rubbish ... you are very hard for your engine.... He plaid games vs a really strong oppposition .. and the results for an "as is " program are not so bad...

Your program have really good chance to improved , since the problem are known... of course if i can see the problems , i cannot help you to solve them.
i never said i was loosing time... it is intertaining for me to watch engines ...
