It seems you have fixed an error in a newer version of Polyglot,
which I had downloaded just some minutes ago!
The book moves error for UCI engines seems to be gone, at least
SilkeChess and SOS4 played now moves from their own book.
SilkeChess also starts thinking now after book end and seems
to work at all. Still SOS4 shows the second error after book end,
which I described in another post tonight.

Very useful.
Note that because PolyGlot is in DEBUG mode, it complains about the tiniest problems. In this case it is not a real problem; I am going to remove the assertion. The release version will not complain about those details anymore.
