The 6th (and last) 15-minute Rapid qualifier for New Long IL-6 is concluded.
It is the "Second Chance" Rapid qualifier.

I just let the DelphiMax window open, it will close itself when the game is over : no problems here in automated tournaments with DelphiMax.

I remember we discussed DelphiMax in the past, e.g.:

I'm an addict of the crap Fritz GUI, and did not test DelphiMax in Winboard with Polyglot. Of course, I run DelphiMax in UCI mode in Fritz.

That's means if you type "DelphiMax_29_UCI.exe" at command line all what you get is GUI and not command line prompt. So you cannot type "UCI" or anything else.
(Similar to typing "scid" under Linux

Ah, _that_ is an answer. Then by definition it's not a UCI engine, don't you agree?
SCID was never claimed to be an engine. Also note that a GUI program can additionally answer to the command line, so IMO it is unrelated to the problem. In other words when you tell me "it has its own GUI", I don't conclude that it does not answer manual commands.
Do you mean WBTM brings extra problems (it sure seems to do for me)?

You can operate DelphiMax from the command line with UciFilter. This program is no longer linked on Hermanns homepage, but it is still available.
Just type UciFilter DelphiMax_29_UCI.exe when both EXEs are in the same directory, or apply a pathname.
