minor change in PolyGlot

Dann has updated the version on his server.
The change is really minor, but *might* help with the unloading "problem".
I put "problem" between quotes because I don't think PolyGlot is responsible for it.

If you mean Silke Chess 1.2.1209 and DelphiMax 2.8, they still stay in RAM after match conclusion (with the latest Polyglot). But I think it is not Polyglot fault.

Dann mentionned Shredder.
For the two you are talking about, you can try in a console.
Just launch them, and type say "xboard" then "quit".
But I expect the problem to be more complex of course.
Do you see PolyGlot sending "quit" in the log files?
Fabien.

I can confirm the behaviour, which Igor described with WBTM.
Yet there is some improvement, because at least in multi game
matches under WB, DelphiMax doesnt start multiple GUI windows
in the next games. Instead it updates the already running one
after a little delay.

Yes, I see:
( XBOARD quit
POLYGLOT *** QUIT ***
) ENGINE quit
) ENGINE EOF
Silke Chess 1.2.1209 doesn't understand "quit" command.
It just hang in console after the command. So it's simple.
DelphiMax 2.8 runs only along with its own GUI.

To make it clear: for test games I use Winboard but not WBTM.
I run matches with batch files.

This is incorrect, of course.
They are UCI engines, so you should type "uci", "isready" and only then "quit".
Fabien, confused with all those protocols :)

If I type those commands in the Silke console it responds,
but does _not_ quit.
uci
id name Silke Chess Engine Version 1.2.1209
id author Copyright 2002 Thomas Steinfeld

uciok
isready

quit
BTW Silke is a small exe and a dll file, perhaps this helps?

Clearly a bug then.
No.
