I have reported another problem in Crafty 19.12 or 13, don´t remember well. I also asked him whether he remember me from CTF. But he never answered.Have you bothered to report the problem to Bob Hyatt (email should be fine)? Maybe he will fix it for you.
As far as I know he doesn't follow this forum, so reporting it here is not likely to cause a change.

I do not know where the "DHnosse" version comes from but there seems to be something amiss. When I run an analyze starting at move 105, in the game crafty moved Kg3, analysis with my "nosee" version shows Ng1 and Kg3 is not even looked at (see below). There are several moves afterwards where there is a difference also which lead crafty to lose this game. Where did you get this compile from?Crafty still doesn´t know how to draw KR vs KN endgame, without EGTBs.

This is the second time I warn you about these out of place comments. Again please, don't do it again, it's off topic and unnecesary provocation. Try to understand. This forum is about having fun with winboard and chess programs.I have reported another problem in Crafty 19.12 or 13, don´t remember well. I also asked him whether he remember me from CTF. But he never answered.Have you bothered to report the problem to Bob Hyatt (email should be fine)? Maybe he will fix it for you.
As far as I know he doesn't follow this forum, so reporting it here is not likely to cause a change.

You know that I was, and am still banned from the CTF, where I could find him. On the other hand, I know that some admirers of his work read this forum, Michael Byrne for example.
So, the communication is not the problem, Peter. I think that prof Hyatt doesn´t pay attention to those "details without importance".
That´s why I am insisting so much, like his country-men trying to find WMD in certain countries.

What GUI were you using for this match? Also can you you enter the following FEN in the crafty console (startup crafty by its self no GUI)Sorry, the correct name should be "BHnosse". It is your version working in my AMD Duron processor.
I´ll make the name correction.

Let me know what it says the move is on the Black(1): line. You just type in quit to exit out of the console. I belive there maybe a problem with running the NOSSE version on your Duron. The NOSSE version is for Athlons not Duron CPUs. So it may run but may have issues. Since I do not have a Duron CPU I have no way to test things. This is a draw back in trying to create the fastest compile for several platforms.

Without complete debug logs it is impossible to say what happened. I do know some issues have been reported with Arena and Crafty and the resolve reported was to use the xboard command.OK, It is there now. Perhaps it was in time trouble during the game, and hadn´t enough time to choose the right move.
Do you remember that 19.14 BHnosse wasn´t able to work correctly in my PC ? It was instable. Now it works perfectly.
